Beechworth
House is set
on 2.5 acres of garden just 1.5kms from the Post Office - a comfortable
undulating 15 minute walk. With sweeping views east, the property looks
onto the pretty Stanley Ranges and backs onto the historic grounds of LaTrobe
University's Heritage campus with magnificent 120 year old gardens.
The property has a large pond with abundant native birdlife, an extensive rose garden, and shady sitting areas. It is a garden for all seasons.
Guest accommodation includes five double rooms all with private ensuite facilities, television, airconditioning and heating. King size/twin or Queen size bed combinations are provided with quality linen and furnishings. All of our rooms are very private, with four of our rooms being separate from the main house.
A
delicious cooked breakfast is served every morning in our bright and
welcoming dining room, on warmer days seating is available outside. Freshly
brewed coffee, a selection of teas, seasonal fruits, squeezed orange juice,
farm-fresh eggs, bacon, home made jams and an ever changing array of breakfast treats are all part of the experience.
The guest sitting room is a special place to enjoy a quiet read in front of the lovely open fire, enjoy a drink or converse with new found friends.
